Amazing vegan restaurant located in a historical stand alone building in downtown Iowa City home of the University of Iowa. The staff was incredibly friendly, informative and available. The food was delicious, as were the drinks. A must stop when in the area.

This is a nice little vegan restaurant in the heart of Iowa city near the University of Iowa. This restaurant has fully vegan menu with a very good variety of appetizers entrees and desserts combined with a great selection of beers wines non alcoholic beverages and cocktails. We ordered a couple of draft beers and a non alcoholic beverage named Trumpet blossom chill. For appetizers we ordered the heat of palm crab cakes with a tangy mustard based aioli. For mains we ordered the Falafel burger, with sides of sweet potato fries and tomato soup with corn bread, spicy coconut milk Thai curry, cold noodles. I really loved the crab cakes, falafel burger and the corn bread. The soup was a hearty tomato soup with a hint of basil and oregano. The sweet potato fries that accompanied the burger were really crispy on the outside and chewy inside and were accompanied with really good dipping sauces. The draft beers and the trumpet blossom Chill were really good as well. The trumpet blossom chill had a really nice floral note from the rose and a nice underlying bitterness from the coffee. Overall it was a really good dining experience.

I’m not usually looking for vegan food, but I tried the red bean burger and it was tasty. Fries were delicious, as was the sauce. Quaint, eclectic atmosphere with a very pleasant vibe.
